Ginge you are spot on, i am passionate about this as this it what makes forums good people sharing their knowledge and information. Years ago before internet forums i used to rely on the monthly mags like CCC, street machine or club magazines to get ideas on how to modify cars.
The problem here IB / admin see garage 19 maybe making a few ££ (helping out car enthusiast BTW) and wants a piece of the ££ bit like a Tax!
but the medium that those enthusiasts offered their services such as magazines, had a monthly price to pay to buy those magazines.
the forum is just like a magazine.
