obvisouly with the standard plates you can only uprate them so far

heres an example a 7.5" cossie rear V.C can be done to 240Nm no problem at all with the standard plates (25Nm standard when new)

lets say if you wanted a 300 -400Nm uprated VC then plates would have to be changed for the Nickel plates which can take alot more pressure/flex alot of people go this route on the rally cars lose surface

What effect does the uprating of the diff have on a road car's behaviour - locks up more and hence more tail happy? Could you describe a little bit?
