my rev counter does not work on my mk4 escort.
its got 90 spec xr3i efi loom and clocks.
i need to know what wires in the back of the clocks work the rev counter?
i thought it was just the green wire in the clocks but i just cant get it to work, i even tried another set of clocks and it doesnt work!
but i have wired in a after market rev counter and it works fine so i have a problem with the wiring loom somewhere.
if someone can tell me what wires operate the rev counter i can work out the problem.
i have a haynes manual for 88 spec looms but it doesnt seem to make sense, the wiring diagrams seem to contradict themselves and show different wires on each page!
