Nothing worse than getting to the far end of the country to look at a ''mint'' car that because of all the respray work was 3 different shades of silver-it happened me a couple of years ago I could have killed the cunt , five hrs driving for fuck all

Good luck and keep going anyway-I'm lookin forward to this car and resto
Not as easy as that, as im looking at all ends of the spectrum from dog rough to ("mint") show standard. So im not really buying on condition, im buying on the cars history and clean pedigree as an investment.

Lee, go to www.escortrscosworth.com and post the HPI'd cars up, I'm sure it would be a worthwhile post, might even make it a sticky, then people can add to it if they turn up a dodgy one, save people HPI'ing the same car 10 times.
You'd be supprised at the ammount of people who dont hpi

Not another cossie ive been there and done that, "you should never meet your heros" and i did and it was a massive anticlimax.

Well i thought about doing some sort of thread and its a bloody good idea, BUT i dont think its fair. Its so open to false claims, someone could eaisly sabbotage your sale if they didnt like you!

I suppose the only way it would work as if each reg was listed and a contact detail of the person who hpi'd the car, ie a link where the hpi report can be emailed to prove the claim.

I think i will pm a mod as it could work under these circumstances!?
