I've done all the cost cuttings possible with regards to energy usage, wastage and stock control etc. Only one left to do now is down to staff. I could lay one of my staff off and save £90 a week but it would mean me working every lunchtime and night through the week and a saturday lunchtime myself again which isn't an option as I want to spend time with our 5 month old daughter and can't expect Claire to do everything with her!!

Personally, and just from what you have posted on this thread, I think you need to get shot of one of your toys to be honest. If you get say £10000* for that cosworth in your sig, then that pays that worker you where going to lay off for approx 2 years or more and nothing from your lifestyle really changes. The other option is for the babys mother to go back to work when her maternity leave is up.
