Is a boost cut chip necessary as if u stick a bleed valve on it, wont the ecu not see the full boost and hence not boost cut??? Reasn i ask is the guy i bought my chipped ecu from swore blind his car ran 18psi with the ecu i bought yet when i opened it up it had a motorola chip in it which i was told was standard.
yes its necasarry,the ecu reads the boost form the inlet manifold so it will sense more than 10psi,think of it like ur boost gauge attached to the inlet,does it show less boost if u run a bleed valve
