Yeah mate i know apparantly there is a way there from basingstoke which would be closer?

from kingsclere head towards basingstoke on the A339
keep in a straight line and you will turn up on the basingstoke ring road(dual carriageway)
head towards reading on the A33
when you get to sherfield on loddon/bramley turn right at the roundabout
