it depends. if the piston had a bigger gudeon pin like XE pistons for example you can modify the conrod to accept the bigger pin but if you have a set of pistons with a smaller gudeon pin then i dont see a way around it. Not to mention the CR as your new rod & pison combo may now be too tall and hit a valve or too small and give a crap CR
