Hi,
Need some advice / pointers.

2wd Saph. I just had my bottom end rebuilt, 200 block, 7.8.1 piston, new rings standard crank etc., running standard injectors, standard map sensor, L8 ECU, standard chip and board, New T34 set to 8psi, New plugs, Cap, rotor, ford motorsport leads, phase. Replaced all the engine sensors apart from CPS (was new a few months back), Map Sensor and TPS TP09. The car was running fine 2 weeks ago. I thought I freshen up the bottom end and then after running in take down to Stu for some live mapping on light blues.

Plumbed in a new 044 Pump & new fuel filter on and put the engine & gearbox back in today.
Now this is the first time I’ve started the engine after the build and its running rough low down, idle is bad and if held at 2k is sound like its misfiring, I removed the plugs, they are covered in black soot and not wet. (So not fuelling - I think).

i have an uprated Fuel Pump loom (from Car Looms UK - Ryan) i could install tomorrow, but dont think this will fix the problem.
I have tried another ECU, check the gap on the CPS (tried 0.6 and 1.0) and check phase 0.2-0.3, looks ok to me.

Any idea's.? I’ve tried a P8 and another L8 still same.
