Ok ive spoken to Elephants manager and they have admitted fault on there behalf, So i carry on paying my £100 a month. But the quote that was given of £7.5k stands correct i asked why, he replied we had 22 people who drove a xr2i/ fiesta rs turbo in 2008 take out insurance with us. 21 males and 1 women, 20 of the males claimed or had claims made against them through there own fault, the women earned another years no claims. So he said the risk of insuring your xr2i and being a man is extremly high compared to that of the women. Personally i think this is bollocks why should people pay for other peoples accidents. but hey ho looks like ill be ditching elephant at renewal time anyways. Tom
