I could really do with one of these for my studio as I only get a really crappy signal here. Anyone got any experience with them?

Do they work? Will I get cancer?! Where to buy? And does it matter what network I'm on as some listed on ebay state they're for Vodafone & T-Mobile? (I'm on Orange).
