Rebuilds are a dawdle (I had to do it twice )

Parts are dirt cheap if you buy them from Oz and not over here.

And they dont need rebuilding as much as people make out. Keep them in good nick, dont let them run lean or overheat, change oil every 3k miles and they'll do 100k easily.

Mine, the engine was knackered when I got it, and second time round, I killed it by letting it get hot when the header tank cracked. Have been seriously considering another one recently and I know reliability woldnt put me off.

And they are so so quick, and excellent handling.
