righty, what does everybody use?

I haven't done this for a while, and used to have to use a program to first of all convert any AVI, WMV files to DVD format, which took ages.

Then burn it to DVD, but always get confused about what you need to do with the two folders (Video & Audio ones)

Looking for software that's quick and as easy to use as possible, as I've gotta show my old man how to use it all. He has trouble rotating a picture never mind anything else!!
