for the car and not to waste time and money travelling to Somerset unless I was making a better offer.
Mk1 Golfs are the bollocks but I'd rather blow 10k on a minter with more miles then 25k on the best RS500.
He's pullin ya chain mate, ask him when the guys doing the deal and could you give him a call a day or two later to see how the sale went, then you'll go down with sensible money.
I imagine he's been in the pub talking about selling his old Golf and some know it all in the next urinal told him its worth £35k and all Mk1 Gti's had 500 bhp.
