For me it would be down to condition of the car, would you buy a wreck with perfect history or good condition car with a blemish.
Also, alot of cars can have a hidden past anyway, bumps and scraps fixed outside insurance.
In a few years there will be less of them about, so if someone wants buy it a blemish like this will probably be irrelevant.

i have never ever seen a old rs with a perfect history that has been a total wreck condition wise, i have seen total shite with no history bar being a write off though
