We have a 54 plate one (phase 1) and it has started to run like a bag of bolts.

On start up it sounds like an old MK2 diesel transit and clatters like hell. It also sounds like its off of a cylinder for a few seconds.

Then when you drive it's almost like kangaroo petrol if trying to go slow in traffic etc.

Id also say that if it were an old petrol car it would be like its pinking when its hot got a really weird diesel clatter if you load it up in say 3rd then it sounds normal once the revs pick up a bit.

It's got full service history and had a service just a couple of months ago.

We have had it since it was a year old and this is the 1st time it's let us down.

Any of you Fordie mechanics have any ideas?
