if the car had 130 bhp or above (some xr3i and mk5 rs2000) then it had them. and an MTX75 gearbox


some early mk6 rs2k had them too.. but then they decided drums were a good idea. IIRC

EDIT: Martin, yes you can just bolt them on (hubs calipers etc), you will need a mk5 RS2000 or 130bhp xr3i handbrake cable
and thats about it i think.. Definitly didnt change the beam when we converted my old MK6.
