i dont agree with it, the bank is nationalised, so therefore it is the taxpayer who is loosing out here, the bank should be paying this money back to the government rather than giving it to the staff! yes they are working hard, but arent they supposed to do that anyway as an employee?? isn't that the whole point of working for someone??

IF i had any money in Northern rock, i would be taking it out and putting it somewhere else, LIKE RBS, as this whole thing stinks to high heaven.

my sister, mother and brother in law all work for RBS, and they are so scared for their job right now, that they would be happy if it was just secure, and NONE of them are expecting or WANTING a payrise/bonus this year, they would just like to see the business survive and get busy again!!
