i had the same thing on an orion once, i took the thermostat out completely and this made the water move through the rad much faster so not getting as cool as if it were being restricted, altho this isnt a good idea as such it was a long time ago i did this and really before i knew anything about cars. but it kept temp after remmoving it even in the really cold where it would never even get the heaters warm at all..
not authodox but i suppose if there is nothing else then it's going to be worth a try, it's starting to do my head in but i atleast feel better because no one else can cure it too
i personaly think now due to elimination it might be something to do with the thermostat housing, i honestly don't no wot yet but there is not alot else it can be, if anything was to be faulty it would restrict the flow resulting in the engine over heating, heaters work rad obv work's so does the water pump,
so i just cant put my finger on it but cheers for your reply, any help is better than no help
