i have sierra cosworth 2wd rear disc conversion on my mk4 escort and in a word they are 'shite'.
the handbrake is atroucious and they always seem to bind.
in reverse they bind something terrible.
i thought the calipers were siezed but i fitted some recon ones and they were exactly the same.
to top it off they are too powerful for my car as its stripped out and they lock alot, i fitted a bias valve and rudeced it as far as it can go but they still to powerful.
so i ground half the pad surface away and they are still a bit too powerful.
BUT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i really wanna keep them though as they look perfect on my car.
so can someone tell me if i am doing something wrong or what?!?!?!?!?
its as if they cannot release properly, i know they screw in but once they have pumped up they dont drop back enough to stop binding
