Your Mrs is worried about LHD but NOT worried about puling a 10 ton 45ft trailer.
And she's hardly likely to be dashing backwards and forwards to Tesco in it.
Has she seen how big they are?

Tell her it's not so far to walk back to the pavement and a lot easier to parallel park. (don't mention the bit about getting the car /van back out again)

Stay with LHD, your hardly going to be dodging in and out of traffic with a Ram or a F450.

Some of the LHD conversions I've seen pics of don't look too bad but it's what you can't see that matters.

I've got a LHD Mustang and don't have any problems apart from car park pay barriers, but in a Ram or 450 you can walk from one side of the cab to the other.
