try and tell that to your employer that's giving you your work, and i think you'll find common practice with shop fitters that have to work to a tight scedule with everything around them going wrong.

and a spark's don't work with machinery, and we don't work live on any new build site any more, so as long as you've a head on your shoulders and don't put yourself at risk you'll be ok, at the end of the day step's are illegal on site only because people that can't walk and talk at the same time fall off them
