Posted this in the RS room also but thought it might be worth a post in here too......

Noticed today my ACT Sensor had one of it's wires broken off the plug, I striped and soldered it back together so all is well but what i wanted to know was.....

Will it have effected my running? Or is it only there to retard timing/boost if high ACT's are detected?
