if you really must buy this and have it on the road, then declaring the turbo conversion is a necessity!
and if it helps, contact CIS (co-op) for the insurance, as for some reason, they insure cars purely on the cc, not the aspiration, so whether its 1.6 n/a or 1.6 turbo, the price will b the same. still going to sting u being a 1.6 and being so young, but still cheaper than eslewhere will quote u for a turbo
and before anybody starts stamping their feet and demanding that im wrong, i assure u that im not. i was with CIS from 17 wen mine was 1.3, and when i converted it, i declared the 1.6 turbo, and they put 1600 turbo on my insurance docs, but cudnt physically charge me any more than merely being 1.6 lol
