Finally got the series 1 back home after 12 months instorage, due to moving house again, The resto has been on going for 11 years, nearly got it started prior to it going in storage again, since then I have fitted a new fuel pump, changed the metering head 3 times, Replaced the battery, and it still wont start, I have fuel in the pipe to the injectors, it runs for a couple of seconds on the cold start, proved this by unpluging the cold start and it did not start, plug it back in and it runs for a couple of seconds, metering flap bounces when the engine cranks, gradually working my way through the supplementry workshop manual,but could with some inspiration Any ideas gratefully recieved.
