Best Quali lap I've ever seen is Mansell at Silverstone in 92. Goes out and does 'one more for the crowd' when he's already well clear in Pole and goes Almost a full tow seconds faster than his team mate in second place. It was awesome commitment and its the reason Mansell was so loved by racing fans, he had balls and tenacity and he tried for his fans.
