, I was so close to going rear drive in the Escos but a few lads I know have had them, and said they were nowhere near as nice to drive as a saff, so my 4x4 saff has gone rear drive instead, and the Escort stayed 4x4 but with all the upgrades like Bara box, 909 thickwall front diff and twin plate clutch etc..
Still might Rear drive the Escos one day if I get bored

The RWD saff is IMO the best driving cossie ov them all , but would honestly say the escoss in RWD isnt far behind , but as said is a little less twitchy so better for the 4X4 girls as a first RWD car
