I got a really low offer on a rear end shunt (landrover in back of me) and I just sent the 3 highest autotrader listings for the same car and got £100 lower than the lowest of the 3, with no agreed value or anything on my car.

However you're claiming on your own insurance as 1 car incident so pushing for a high payout will push up your premiums, especially if your into fast fords.

i know a few people who have valued their cars against the autotrader, sometimes the insurance take it as thats what cars are selling for, don't take the first offer they make you either (unless its really good )
