Like you say £10k will get him a 'nice' one, but nice compared to what? Its bottom end money, so if you get anything other than a bottom end car, then your lucky in my opinion. Yes of course bargains are out there, but of course youll be lucky to get even a middle of the range car for £10k in my opinion, even at this time of year with the current situation.
Spot on, £10K would get you a high miler or owner car, some service history that would require some work I'd think. Bargains are out there if your lucky.
