hi all

i took the plunge and bought a new IMRC motor to replace the old one that seemed to be working fine but was bringing the engine management light on, now i replaced the motor no probs and took it out on road test and all seems to be working well apart from when you boot it i used to get a surge at 2k-2.5k revs the again about 5k, now this surge isnt so much of a surge its seems to have the same power and everything just with no surge when going throught the rev range just smooth transaction between the power if you get what i mean, now is this normal for being a new motor which is what im putting it down to. i just wonderesd has anybody else fitted a new one and had the same results.
