s2 brake pipe/system questions...
ok, as a lot of people, im fitting rear discs, and have bought a brake bias valve to fine tune the set up
i also have a non ABS master cyclinder, and a load of -3 goodridge braided brake hose
my main concern with the set up is how to plumb in the rear brakes. iv had a couple of different pieces of advice, but want some more input
1 place says i should blank off 1 of the rear outlets on the master cyclinder, take a single line from the remaining rear outlet, through the bias valve, and then split with a t-piece under the car, with a line to each rear caliper
the other place said i should take both lines off the master cylinder, t-piece them into 1 line from the bulkhead, through the bias valve, into a second t-piece, and 2 lines off to the calipers
which would be best suited?
also, i had only ever planned to do the rear lines braided, and do solid copper for the fronts, as people were worrying me with the fact that i may end up with a spongy pedal with it fully braided, due to expansion etc. i dont want the front brakes to lose any power, cos as it stands they are only standard s2 calipers, new, with the 283mm cossie disc conversion. so would the front sb better off solid copper line, or will braided line be fine and im just being worried for nothing?
sorry for the huge essay, but need to clarify this so i can get it all plumbed in
cheers
