He's lovely - i wanted an english bull, but went for another gundog in the end

As for training, i took the week off when i got mine, to settle him in - i got appendicitis the week later and had to leave strict instructions with my family whilst i was in hospital about him sleeping in his crate, only being fed from his bowl and mealtimes etc (which were completely ignored )
still, i got the following 5 weeks off to train him and he had a great headstart for dog school

The books i read reckon they learn the most before they are 16 weeks
