The calipers themselves are far superior to 4wd calipers, but th braking system on a Mk3/4 isn't really the best for use with them. I fitted mine 3/4 years ago and have only really used the car a few times recently to actually see what they are like, they are alright but then that said the car has been sat dormant all the time inbetween and one of them had stuck on, im waiting for the weather to warm up to strip them all down and rebleed them etc.

As for fitting, all you need to do is tap the hub to M12, the holes are out a tiny tiny amount but if you start both bolts off before you wind them in all the way you will have no issues.

The pipe connections are a bit of a nightmare though. Obviously on a 2wd theres no driveshafts up the front, but your escort has, and the connections point straight out at the CV joints. You will need 90 degree adaptors to make the pipes clear.

Also wont fit behind standard rims.
