hi guys thanks for the replys, the tappets were changed when i rebuilt the engine last january nearly a year ago to the day. my car always taps from cold always has done well in the 2 years ive owned it. but its been tapping alot when warm. all my mates with there bmw's and jap crap keep saying take it to the scrap yard go jap, blah blah blah, i may try 15/50 silky next. i was always told thin oil on cossie's running high power is a big no no. is this true??
