yes the connection i'm using is a proper leased line. not sure which type tho but it's fibre straight into a tier1 ISP. i get to about 7mb/sec before my PC shits itself

our datacenter has gigabit direct to the ISP (its next door to it), but there's only a pair of 36mb megastreams connecting it to the rest of our MPLS cloud
