318is's are suposed to be good i thought, well the ones with the 16valve engines that have 140bhp
still fast and yet economical, heard the 2.0 are poo
WTF, a proper BM has 6 (or more) cylinders, which the 1.6 and 1.8 dont have!
Ive had a E36 2.3 coupe for the last 2 years ive done 25k in her, had a few problems, water pump, very easy to do and very comon to go, the voltage regulator went in the altanator.
Most parts a pretty cheep, apart from the door weather seal on a coupe £120 odd!!
I was a bit dissapointed with it, thought it was a bit over ratted, but for the last few weeks ive been driving a newer Vectra v6 and iam missing the BM loads! Lol.
Get one you will love it and so will the mrs
