Oh dear here we go again.................

All CVH Cams currently on the market are predominantly shite! LOL

In all seriuosness though reading so many peoples different experiences with cams it appears that it is a complete lottery as to how long a freshly fitted cam will last in your engine!
It depends on so many factors, oil pressure, how it's ran in, what material it's made from, where Saturn is in relation to Venus and the Moon, where you are in your menstrual cycle....etc..etc..

If your car was setup when the T2 was fresh and you replace it with another T2 (ensuring the timing is exactly as it was) then you shouldnt need one no, but it's never a bad thing specially if it's been a while!
