I too have been applying to jobs advertised by employment agencies. All are quick to sign you up onto their books, yet none of the jobs they advertise actually exist. I wonder if they are in breach of Trading Standards?
Anyhoo, to the OP, I hope things get better for you soon.
I am reapplying for uni so that I get a bursary. £800 a month is better than nothing...
