i dont know if this sounds stupid but would it be worthwhile to very carefully remove breather /intercooler etc before it could have entered the engine and count the bits that are missing off the blades ,and try to put it back together like a jigsaw first .it might save you taking the head off.just a thought [probably a stupid one.
