What port dimensions are required for the head inlet & exhaust?
What cams will suit?
Can I get away with valves but any benefit by changing?
Solid followers?.
Compression ratio?.

The block and head have been soda blasted ready and I have somebody to build the motor and have the head work done, but would like a couple of opinions as I don't want to re-invent the wheel.
Any other good advice would be good.
Thanks in advance.
You realy need to take advice from the engine biulder/tuner/mapper doing this biuld,
I would use standard compresion,
Standard Rods unless uou want to use 8mm longer tech these are better and stronger,
Head work 26mm works well if the head man knows what he is doing,
Cams can use standard lifters unless you want to keep reving the nuts off it,
Standard valves are fine,
On a good biuld I would see 500hp and between 480ftlb and 500ftlb on a top spec engine.
