Just wondering if anyone out there can advise me on the following.............

Had my turbo rebuilt recently as the housing had corroded and needed machining (360 bearing)etc. Has done less than 400 miles and running 20psi and has now decided to shit itself!!! I took the air filter off to find a few fins inside it and also the centre spindle nut had come off!! Has anyone heard of this problem or had it happen to them??? Plus ive been told that i should remove the head and check to see if any of the schrapnel has been sucked in.........is this possible???
