Hi guys, I gotta question for ya!
I recently replaced my old original S2 breather system for a Bailey Breather set up but have since noticed an issue with white smoke from the exhaust. It does fade away after a while, so its not too concerning, but i would like to nip it in the bud before it turns into something worse (as with all S2 issues lol).
The smoke coming out is white, not blue, and doesnt smell of anything. It happens when the engine is cold and the oil pressure high (on first start up), but when the engine reaches say 60-70 degrees and the oil pressure drops to like 20-30 psi the smoke is all gone and everything is ok again.
I did notice the other day that while idling for a while, the smoke did start smelling of oil, but it still burnt white rather than blue.
The bailey system has been aired to atmosphere (via a mini oil filter) rather than plumbed to the air/fuel distributor.... maybe thats my problem?
This problem did only start from when i fitted the Bailey Breather just before xmas.
If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year too all
