OK, So far, I have figured out that I need a top engine mount, to cut some of the slam panel to fit the exhaust cam pully and, if I use the 2.0 job, I need the 1.8 sump, pick up and flywheel.

Obv I will be utilising the Ka gear box.


Basically, I just wanna throw sommat together with 130-140bhp (for now), reliable, and fun. I was thinking of setting a budget of £1000, and this includes buying the car. Local breakers told me he has a 50k 1.8 silvertop that I can have, with all anclialries and loom for £100, so if £600 for the Ka, then that leaves me £300 for suspension/brakes.

Does anyone know of any other issues? Alt belt/bracket need changing, what radiator to use?
