you need smaller size m/c for teh fronts, larger m/c at the rear

then you adjust the bar to give you the closer proximity towards the smaller m/c to give you more leverage on the smaller one which turns out to give you more braking at the fornt

i may be corrected in a future post though, but having fitted one to my 3 door in about 1994, it's been a while
