The restictor (like the one below) unbolts from the intake on the compressor housing, then have new one machined out to your desired internal diameter (without the restrictor) but with the same external diameter and length and retaining the portion that slides inside the compressor housing, re-bolt it back in...job's a good un....no need to change the front housing
