ok mate ill have a look around it on friday, gonna take a day away from it tomorrow as it is giving me a headache, i have been reading the other posts about and i have noticed oil in the engine bay, possibly from the dump valve, this can be caused by piston rings so i am beginning to wonder now, its no problem cos as a last resort i have got a car that i can use the engine from.
looks like im into a busy christmas holiday! anyone in the Oxford area fancy earning some beers for swapping an engine over?
