The blue smoke could be valve stem seals as you started it from cold .If the oil cap blew off and it stalled which it would do as its mfi. It may of blew off because there may be blocked breathers, head gasket faliure or rings.If it is burning oil and hard to start then the plugs maybe fouled up. there just ideas i would consider checking.
