I just found this info on a TIS i borrowed...

"It is possible for some drivers to notice a shuffle/hesitation concern at between 1800 and 2000 rev/min created by the engine management strategy programmed into the powertrain control module. This can be resolved by removing the powertrain control module and installing a new module with a revised calibration"

Is the "Powertrain Control Module" basically the ECU??
