havent come into use with farndon or pec but have you considered eagle? They give a guarunteed power limit on there rods, something like 6 to 900 horses, mental ay? Im sure pec and farndon are great but I cant comment as I have never used them.
Used eagles in my civic b16 turbo i built and they were awesome, mega mega well up for boost, had well over 300 hp.
