hi guys ive got a saph 4x4 coz an i have a problem with the tappets. they have always become noisy on idle after about a minuite. this engine was fully rebuilt about 2000 miles ago by myself. since the rebuild ive fitted new genuine ina tappets and found no difference worringly but naturley i suspected low oil pressure! so i plumbed in a op guage into the oil filter housing and found that even when the oil is at 100'c the pressure never falls below 1.8/1.9 bar (WHICH IS IN SPEC) yet they stil start to tap on idle!
im pullin my hair out now with this thing an i dowanto take the head bak off cus the gasket cost over 100£
